Visa Information -
Tourist Visa
- For the purpose of visiting India as tourists and/or
for meeting friends and relatives.
- Normal duration: six months; however, travel agents
or those who visit India frequently, can get tourist visas
of a longer duration.
- Tourist visas are non-extendable and non-convertible.
Business Visa
- For the purpose of business in India
- Normal duration: 6 months; however, frequent travellers
and technicians/experts going to India in pursuance of bilateral
agreements or joint venture projects (having the approval
of the Government of India) can get long-term business visas
valid for up to 5 years with multiple entries.
